Heron paint is really responsive and quick to get orders out. I’ve ordered custom colors twice. They’ve come quickly and with a good color match. I got some linseed oil soap in the last order. It was a big hit! Works great.
I bought three containers from their product line, midcoast buff, burnt umber, and autumn oak. Great color coverage and will keep buying from Heron.
Great product which is hard to find. Worked great to putty my century old leaded glass windows,
I look forward to finishing all my woodworking projects with Waxy Wax. Lately I've been using it to seal up black locust.
We love using Heron Paints on our projects. They apply well, are long lasting and have a wonderful finish. Using on restoring old iron radiators at Cornell University Fraternity renovation.

Heron Linseed Paint and their products offered are my go-to for my Historic Preservation Projects. It withstands the elements, doesn't blister or peel, and durable to abrasions. I've tried many brands and this one tops the charts. Happy Shopping.

Personal service from the owner. Priceless! Great products. I’m a contractor and use heron paint for all my oil stain, paint, and finish products.
The brown was a rich brown color and the gray was a bit more of a dusky green. Packaged well and shipped promptly. Thanks!
Great product! Used for metal furniture and picnic table combined with pine tar.
I’ve ordered, paint, waxy wax, linseed oil and soap, and all are excellent. Heron’s fantastic. Travis couldn’t be more helpful. He is extremely knowledgable and is clearly driven by a passion for his work.
I love ALL of the Heron paint that I've used, it's as good or better than Ottosson and Brouns, but it's made in America which I really love!
It’s quite expensive for my budget, so I have to get it a little at a time until I have enough for my project. The price will be worth it just in the fact that I may not have to do anything again for a very long time.
Great product
Absorbs nicely into raw wood with little effort. A little goes a long way. Leaves a lovely natural finish.
Natural, healthy, and high quality linseed oil, tung oil, and finishing wax. I love the tone of the finish on the Greenland kayak paddles that I have recently made. Feels great to the touch as well!
I did have a little problem, but Travis resolved it - kudos to him and Heron!
over the past 7 years I've been learning and using linseed oil paint on my wood creations, including Chairs, spoons, and bowls. I have multiple cans of Broun's, jars of Sage, and now more cans of Heron. With my latest project of painting 10 dining room chairs, I am convinced that Heron is the best product for me. I used Heron purified linseed oil and Linseed oil paint in a 70/30 ratio for my primer coat, Heron Linseed oil paint for my second coat, and applied Waxy wax as my finish layer. What amazing coverage and just the right sheen. I love the way the grain of the wood is still expressed and look forward to the patina in the future.
There is something different about the Broun's linseed oil soap that I find to be touch more enjoyable to use, but I'm not sure what the true difference is. I still use and enjoy the Heron Linseed oil soap.
I have to say, there is one question I have about Heron products. Why so much packing material. I understand that you make a great product, but a box with packing material, inside of another box with packing material, and then a compostable bag around the cans? Love the compostable bag on the can, but the addition of a second box and packing material feels like a high school egg-drop challenge exercise :).
All the best and Love your products. Keep it up.
I use heron for all my finishes. I make custom stain with their paint and oil, I also use the waxy waxy, and their paint. All great stuff and super high quality.
