Herons Heat Bodied Linseed Oil has a faster dry time than our Refined Linseed Oil. It is cooked for several days, pre-polymerizing the oil. Nothing else is added to the oil. It can be used as a primer, in primer coats and for general thinning of our paint.
It’s quite expensive for my budget, so I have to get it a little at a time until I have enough for my project. The price will be worth it just in the fact that I may not have to do anything again for a very long time.
Natural, healthy, and high quality linseed oil, tung oil, and finishing wax. I love the tone of the finish on the Greenland kayak paddles that I have recently made. Feels great to the touch as well!
